Mobile theft, 1 youth arrested at MPT

Mormugao police on late Friday night received a complain from one MPT labour that two mobile phones belonging to him and his room mate had been stolen by some culprit after entering the house. Acting on the complaint, Mormugao police registered an offence and began investigating the case.

PSI Sajith Pillai said that they received information that one person had approached a resident to sell mobile phones, while investigation the person 27 year old Zahid Khan  native of Madhya Pradesh but residing at upper jetty confessed of the crime. Mormugao police has placed the accused under arrest and recovered both the mobile worth 35,000.
