Man arrested for stealing gold ornaments

Margao Police has arrested a Karnataka resident for stealing gold ornaments worth 4.28 lakh rupees on Sunday.



The accused had stolen golden ornaments from jewelry shop and fled to Karnataka. Team of Margao police arrested him at Karnataka early on Sunday and bought him to Margao police station.


According to the Margao PSI Sagar Dhatkar accused 24 year old Abdul Jamadar entered the jewelry shop Devkar Jewelers owned by Snehal Devkar at Margao pretending to be a customer.


He then stole 3 rings, 2 necklaces and 1 bracelet weighing 114 grams worth 4.28 lakh rupees.
