HC orders X-ray of Fr Bismarque’s body, will the case reopen?

While the police closed the case as accidental drowning, the Mumbai high court at Panaji has ordered to conduct X ray of the full body.

The findings of this report would decide whether the case should be reopened once again for further investigation.

Though police have proved time and again that Fr Bismarque Dias died due to drowning, the latest report of forensic experts last week said that the autopsy reports are inconclusive.

But at the same time the condition of the body is beyond autopsy. Due to this, the high court has now ordered radiological examination.

Sudip Dalvi and some other friends have also approached the high court, demanding thorough probe.

The case of Tuesday was however regarding disposing Father’s dead body. It is lying in the GMC morgue since November 2015.
