Foreign currency worth 14.08 lakh seized

Goa customs have seized foreign currency worth Rs 14.08 lakhs. The recovery was made from Air India Bangalore-Goa Dubai flight AI 993.
The currency was seized on the arrival of the flight to Goa. The passenger had boarded from Bangalore and was on his way to Dubai.
Goa customs known for its alertness has seized 3.5-kilogram gold valued at Rs 1 crore. Foreign currency valued 14.08 lakh and commercial goods valued at Rs 36.57 lakhs since the financial year 2018 -19
