Burglars strike two apts in Aquem, decamp with booty of 1.91 lakh rupees

 The incident took place during wee hours of Thursday when both owners were not at home, police sources informed.

The burglars broke into two flats one in second floor and the other on the first floor Between 2.30 and 3.00 in the morning.

The flat owners James Pereira and Vishnu Bhat had gone out for a function.

In case of Pereira flat, burglars broke the door instead of breaking the lock.

The neighbors noticed that something was not right and immediately informed the owners, who rushed back only to find household items scattered all over.

The burglars were caught on CCTV cameras. Police are investigating the case.
