Azossim panchayat threatens to file case against the builder

Azossim –Mandur panchayat has threatened to file a writ petition in the High Court against a builder who has dumped debris from his construction site in the village.
The construction site is on a hilltop and with the rains, the sludge is washed down in the village.
Azossim-Mandur sarpanch Ajit Bakkal said despite writing to various authorities and filing complaint with the district magistrate and police, the builder has remained defiant.
He has demanded the construction company to remove the clay dumped in the Comunidade land within ten days.
He said the land was identified plots for locals under the 20-point programme.
The sarpanch alleged that the issue was raised in the assembly by the local MLA but the deputy speaker kept it aside.
