Anjuna Police crack international gang of burglars

On Thursday Anjuna police arrested gang of 4 Georgian nationals for breaking into the house at Siolim and fleeing away with booty worth nine lakh rupees.

The accused were arrested within 5 hours after committing the crime.

Anjuna PI Navlesh Dessai informed that the accused are from Georgia and were presently residing at Arpora.

They targeted a house at Bamanwado in Siolim and decamped with cash and gold ornaments worth rupees nine lakh.

Anjuna PI and his team arrested the accused within 5 hours.

They recovered the stolen booty and also attached their rented car, 7 mobile phones, two sim cards and several other house breaking equipment.

Further investigation is in progress.
