2 offices robbed in Vasco , burglars decamp with 90k

2 offices located in the heart of Vasco city were burgled on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday. The offices of J M Baxi , a shipping company and The United India insurance company were burgled in the colaco building located near the Vasco Railway station.

The manager of JM Baxi , Govind Pernulkar said that cash worth 40,000 were stolen and sources in the United Insurance said that cash of around 50,000 we're stolen. The burglars entered both the offices in the building by breaking the main doors and then breaking open lockers of the offices to steal the cash.  The Vasco police are investigating.
