2 booked in Halwai attack case

 Vasco based businessman Halwai is the complainant in bribery case against Ex IGP of Goa police.

 According to the police Halwai in his complaint stated that while he was proceeding towards his home from Calangute, some people in a SUV tried to attack him.

The miscreant, he alleges threatened to kill him with a knife. The incident reportedly took place late Friday night behind near St Anthony chapel in Chicalim.

 Remember, Halwai is the complainant in bribery case against Ex IGP of Goa police. He had earlier alleged he was being pressurised to withdraw a complaint he had lodged before the anti-corruption branch, in which he had accusedEx IGP Sunil Garg of demanding and receiving a bribe of Rs 5.5 lakh for registering a first information report (FIR) in a cheating case.
