2 arrested in Calangute for murder

One person was brutally beaten killed up and thrown in a verandah of a bar at Naikawaddo Calangute on Tuesday.
He died on Wednesday.
The post mortem showed that the accused died due to ‘Head Injury’ as a result of blunt force impact.
Two persons Santosh Vaidhonde, age 35 yrs from Mapusa and John Fernandes, 56 yearr old from Anjuna have been arrested.
The deceased was shifted to GMC, Bambolim for treatment in an unconscious state and he never gained consciousness and subsequently died.
He was identified as Mr. Santano D’Costa from Saligao. From the spot police recovered mobile of the deceased.
