Rising cases spawn village wise lock-downs

Cases are spreading all over the state. And panchayats are locking down village by village by village as people are trying to grapple with something that they have no control over. The government is trying to revive business.

However, the confidence of people is at a low ebb as cases have crossed 1000.    

Assolna village of Salcette is in self lockdown mode due to rising covid cases in Salcette. However, shops will be allowed to open for 7 in the morning to 11 in the morning.

After Assolna, another village in Salcette – Carmona - too has announced to undergo self lockdown.
