Malbhat traders object to Covid testing in the market passage

Malbhat market complex traders have objected to the testing for coronavirus by Victor hospital in the complex passage. They say people who come for testing stand in queue in the passage in front of their shops, this affects their business.

The traders say this is against central government guidelines.

They say the hospital which is located on the first floor should conduct the tests inside its premises.

The traders have written to the district collector, health minister, Margao legislator and the local councillor over the issue.
