Goa reports 11 new positive cases, active cases cross half century

India reported 6767 covid-19 positive cases in last 24 hours. Its a biggest jump in India. This is happening for third day in row. This takes total tally of covid-19 cases to more than 1.31 lakhs. Ironically Goa has reported 11 positive cases by Sunday afternoon, taking number of active cases to 50.

Health Minister Vishwajeet Rane informed that 11 passengers arrived from Mumbai on Saturday on Rajdhani express train tested positive bringing total number of active cases to 50.

While, Health Minister also informed that he would request Chief Minister to make covid-19 certificate mandatory for the passengers entering into Goa and it should be valid for 48 hours.

A biggest single day jump of 6767 covid-19 cases were reported in India.

In last 24 hours around 137 deaths were reported and almost 2561 patients have recovered.

India has reported 1,32,674 covid-19 positive cases till date.

And the active cases have crossed 73000 mark.

3899 deaths are reported and 54729 patients have recovered.

Maharashtra is leading with 47190 cases followed by Gujarat 13664 Tamil Nadu 15512 and Delhi 12914 cases.

More than 1.13 lakhs covid-19 cases were reported worldwide in single day.

The covid-19 cases have crossed 50 lakhs mark, 3.25 lakh deaths are reported and more than 19.72 lakhs have recovered.
