Dambab save us, Vascokars plead

A delegation went to the Zambaulim Damodar temple and after offering a Pooja, took a Prasad for the well being of Vascokars and placed the Prasad at the feet of Lord Damodar in the Vasco Temple.

In 1898, some 120 years ago Vasco was hit by the plague. Then too Vascokars had gone to Zambaulim and offered prayers to Lord Damodar as the city was suffering.

Then too they had got back the coconut Prasad from Zambaulim and placed in the Vasco temple after which the plague eased off. Vascokars in the midst of the Corona pandemic hope that history will repeat itself.
