Covid 19 vaccine rolls out begins

Covid vaccine roll out began on Saturday across the country. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday kicked off world's largest Covid-19 vaccination drive. He spoke to vaccine takers at more than 3,000 centers across the country where the first shots were to be given.



India launched one of the worldlargest coronavirus vaccination drives on Saturday, setting in motion a complex deployment plan aimed at stemming the wide spread of infections across a nation of more than 1.3 billion people.

In Goa, Ranganath Bhaji, a health worker from GMC received the first covid 19 vaccine jab on Saturday. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar and Chief Minister Pramod Sawant visited the covid19 vaccination centre at GMC. In Goa there are a total of 7 centre where the vaccination drive was conducted and 700 health workers administered the vaccine on Saturday.
