Coronavirus cases in India almost reach 60 lakhs

The coronavirus cases in India has reached almost 60 lakhs after recording more than 85,000 cases in last 24 hours. India laso reporting more than 1,000 deaths for the consecutive 24th straight day in a row.

A single day jump of 85,362 covid-19 cases were reported in India. In last 24 hours 1,089 deaths were reported and 93,420 patients have recovered.

India has reported 59,03,932 covid-19 positive cases till date. And the active cases have crossed 9.60 lakh mark. 93,379 deaths are reported and 48,49,584 patients have recovered.

Here are five worst hit coronavirus states. Maharashtra is leading with 13 lakh mark of covid-19 cases followed by Andhra Pradesh 6.61 lakh, Tamil Nadu 5.69 lakh, Karnataka 5.57 lakh and UP 3.78 lakh.

Almost 3 lakh cases were reported worldwide in single day. The global cases have reached 3.27 crore, 9.93 lakh deaths are reported and 2.41 crore have recovered.

Here are the five worst hit coronavirus nations. United States is leading with more than 68.68 lakh cases followed by 2nd worst hit nation India 59.03 lakh cases, Brazil 46.92 lakh cases, Russia 11.36 Lakh cases and Colombia with 7.98 lakh cases.
