No need for lockdown, no need for tourists to interact with people: CM

Center says no need for lockdown in state. PM Modi himslef took stock of the pandemic situation in the state and he agreed that for now there is no need of going for a lockdown,the chief minister Dr Pramod Sawant said on Wednesday. He said that the Prime Minister had asked the government to go for vaccination in a big way and make facilities available for the people.

On the Tourism front he said that they had written to Centre to allow vaccination to persons below 45 who are part of tourism industry.

Ironically he said that in general people should not interact with tourists, but take care of their own safety, while ruling out any restrictions or night curfew.
