Mangoor hill in uproar once again over administrative lethargy

A huge crowd gathered once again within the containment area at Mangoor hill. On Monday too people came out alleging that the authorities failed to supply them essential food items even after repeated requests.

People questioned the authorities over their lethargic attitude even in such areas.

But bills are being delivered even as the state is gripped in the vice of the Pandemic.

Reginaldo Lourenco questioned how government can send bills to covid hit areas even as drama was witnessed on second day at Mangoor Hill where people in hundreds gathered near the barricades of containment zone.

Local councillor Saifullah Khan said government should supply vegetables, milk, eggs along with food grains.

Carmona, Chinchinim and Cuncolim have undergone a self lockdown as decided by their respected local bodies as cases rise.
