New Mapusa bus stand funds are utilized for election purpose, alleges Congress

The principal opposition party alleged that funds for the new bus stand are being used for elections and other purposes but not for infrastructure. They wanted the municipal authorities to give a proper account of the money received and work progress status.

 Former MMC chairperson and councillor Sudhir Kandolkar highlighted some of the issues bugging the functioning of the Mapusa municipality. Sudhir said that work of the proposed new Mapusa bus stand was passed several years back but it still hasn't started in full swing. Listen in.
