IFFI to celebrate Golden Jubilee this year

International Film Festival of India is celebrating its 50th edition this year. Hence IFFI will be a memorable one.



Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javdekar said special attention will be given to delegates so that they won't face any inconvenience during the festival.


He also inspected the screening venues of the festival.

IFFI is celebrating its golden jubilee this year. The festival will held from the 20th till the 28th November.


A special screening venues at private theatres are also being arranged to screen IFFI movies. President of Oscar Academy John Belly will attend the festival this year.


A golden jubilee poster of IFFI was also unveiled on the occasion. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar and others were present.


Later, Prakash Javdekar and CM Pramod Sawant along with official concerned inspected the festival venues, namely Shyama Prasad Mukherji Stadium, Dinananth Mangeshkar auditorium at Kala Academy and Inox.
