Finally it’s announced. Goa will go for election of two Lok Sabha seats and by elections of 3 Assembly constituencies together. On 23rd of April. Counting is almost a month later. On 23rd May.

Elections

The Lok Sabha election would be held in total 7 phases. From 11th April to 19th May. And Goa will vote in the third phase. Along with Mandrem, Mapusa and Shiroda Assembly seats.

Chief Election Commission of India Sunil Arora announced that the Code of Conduct comes into force from today, Sunday, the 10th of March. But the nominations in Goa would begin only on 28th of March.

Goa’s Lok Sabha election would be held in the third phase along with 114 constituencies of 13 other states. Also the Assembly bye-elections of Mandrem, Mapusa and Shiroda.

The Lok Sabha election would be held in total 7 phases, with the first phase beginning on 11th of April and the last phase ending on 19th May. This is the schedule.
