'Food safety is everyone's responsibility'

Secretary Health J Ashok Kumar said the food safety not only rests with the farmer but with various stakeholders, including the consumers. He said the farmer is dependent on others to grow food.

World Food Safety Day was celebrated in Panaji. This year the theme Food safety is everyone's responsibility.

The celebration was organized by the Department of Food and Drugs Administration of the Government of Goa.

The Chief guest on the occasion was Secretary health Ashok Kumar.
