Bike rallies have started hitting the Panaji roads as the by-election is coming closer. Besides contesting candidates, the Election Commission has also relied on a rally of vehicles to convince the voters to come out and vote.

Aam Admi Party’s candidate Valmiki Naik also had a Bike Rally on Thursday, starting from Ribandar until Donapaula, covering the whole Panaji constituency.

He is contesting from Panaji for the second time.

Though Goa Suraksha Manch is contesting for the third consecutive time, its candidate and rebel RSS leader Subhash Velingkar is contesting for the first time.

Their rally held this week was also equally impressive.

The BJP and Congress did not have rallies, but held public meetings to conclude the campaign.

Thought authorities denied to hold the meeting at Mahalaxmi Temple by blocking the road, BJP candidate Sidharth Kunkolkar had a public meeting at Boca da Vaca, addressed by central BJP minister Nitin Gadkari.
