49th IFFI ends, Golden Jubilee next year

Ukrainian film Donbass, which has been nominated for Oscar award, won the Golden Peacock at the 49th International Film Festival of India. The IFFI concluded on Wednesday.



 A Malayalam film 'Ee Maa Yore' won two awards – the Silver Peacock as well as the Best Actor.

India's dialogue writer Salim Khan was also honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award at the concluding ceremony.

Curtains were down on the nine-day IFFI on Wednesday. 

The IFFI concluded with a colourful ceremony of dances and songs.

These are the most important awards won by filmmakers from all over the World at the 49th IFFI.

The 9 days International Film Festival of India çoncluding ceremony saw some amazing live performance by bollywood actors and singers and dance performances. 

Salim Khan from the famous Salim-Javed duo, who gave several hit films with powerful dialogues, was honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award.

His  son Arbaz Khan received the award on his behalf
