Art and Culture Minister Govind Gaude praised Shennoi Goembab for doing a lot for the Konknni language.

Govind said if we want to show Goenkarponn to our children, then we should not compromise on our principles.

The occasion was the Goenkarponn Awards distribution birth anniversary Shennoy Goembab whose real name was Waman Raghuvir Shennoy Warde Valaulikar.

Art and Culture Minister Govind Gaude addressed the gathering.

Later, Goenkarponn awards were distributed by school children.
