Shigmo begins from 10th March in Ponda

Lets enjoy the festival with love and togetherness, All participants need to come on time and lets all enjoy the festival on time, this is what the Art and Culture minister Govind Gaude said on Wednesday. Soon after the Carnival, the Shigmo festival will begin from the 10th of March commencing from Ponda.

On 10 March the Shigmo parade will commence from Tisk Ponda at hands of Chief Minister Pramod Sawanth  at 4 in the evening.

Art & Culture Minister Govind Gaude along with Ponda MLA Ravi Naik , Vishwanath Dalvi, Chief Officer of PMC Kedar Naik,

Curti Sarpanch Dadi Naik  and office bearers of Ponda Shigmostav Committee on wednesday held meeting at Kala Mandir Ponda and announced the various committees for successful organisation of traditional Shigmo Festival at Ponda.

On 6 Feb Shigmo Committee would take blessing of Goddess Mhalsa at 4 pm. On 9 March cultural programmes at Bus stand Ponda .
