Panaji to have its own float this time

Carnival is back to its old route. That's from the old secretariat to Campal. Panaji carnival ill be organised on 22nd of February. Floats will be flagged off at 4 pm and they will be theme-based. Panaji will have its own float this time.

Mayor Uday Madkaikar and CCP Commissioner Sanjit Rodrigues addresed media on Saturday.

There will be six categories , namely traditional , clubs and institutions, commercial , family, junk car, and clown and jokers categories.

The five best floats in each category will be given awards.
