Vasco: Lady dies after tree falls on moving car, In Ponda, kid has a lucky escape

Heavy rains and winds have resulted in several damages. Incidents of tree falling have been reported at many places.

In another incident, a coconut tree fell on the house of one Vaishali Bhade at Zorinto on Monday afternoon. 

She was alone with her husband who is bedridden. Her house is damaged with losses worth lakhs. 

Meanwhile, stormy winds cause havoc in Ponda.

A tree fell on houses and electric wires leading to road blockade. Two and half year old child had a lucky escape at Kaziwada, Ponda after the house partially collapsed.

The child is being treated for injuries. Several other incidents have also come to light.
