Nepali girl commits suicide in IPHB toilet

Another case of suicide has came to light from government hospital in Goa.



In a first incident a senior citizen jumped from the balcony of GMC and now a 28-year-old girl from Nepal hanged herself in the toilet of IPHB Bambolim on Tuesday evening.


This girl was missing since mid-December. Her family members came to collect her when they learnt that she is admitted in IPHB by Goa Police.


But unfortunately, she was found dead in the hospital toilet.


A family member of victim girl informed Goa 365 that victim girl Sharda Bohra was suffering from psychological issues.


She was staying in Pune and her uncle had brought her to Goa.


But she went On 13th December last year she went missing from Mapusa.


Her family members had lodged a police complaint in this regard.


Aggasaim PI Uday Gaude told Goa 365 that her body would be handed over after conducting the postmortem.


But the police are also expected to investigate if she died due to the negligence of the hospital authorities.
