Heavy rains lash state for another day, create havoc

Heavy rains lashed the state in the last 24 hours. In the capital city, an old building opposite woodland showroom partly collpased. While, a road was blocked after landslide occurred at Priol Gaonkarwadda.



A Portugese era building partly collpased on Wednesday afternoon due to heavy rains. The building was located along the MG Road in Panaji and next to an iconic chappel on the busy road. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. The Corporation City of Panaji later cleared the debris.  

 A landslide occured at Gaonkarwaddo-Priol. The debris blocked the road obstruction traffic. Later, the debris were removed and road was opened for traffic
