Fibre glass unit catches fire at Nesai

The fire started at 8 in the morning and it took 4 fire tenders till afternoon to bring the blaze under control.

The presence of chemicals at Techforce Composite aggravated the situation. Fire tenders from Ponda, Curchorem, Madgao and Verna took part in fire fighting.

Fire fighting operations were going on till 4 pm and more than 22 water tenders have been used.

The unit had not obtained NOC from the local panchayat.
