CAR BANGS INTO POLE, HITS BIKE

A car hit an electricity pole and damaged a two-wheeler parked on the roadside at Moira on Sunday midnight. No injuries were reported in the incident.
Sources said the accident took place at about 2 in the morning. A Nexon 4 wheeler was proceeding towards Moira from Mapusa. After crossing Moira Bridge the driver lost control at sharp turn, went on the wrong side and rammed on the oncoming electricity pole.
The impact of so severe that the concrete electricity pole broke and fell on the car. A two-wheeler parked adjacent to the pole also damaged. There was power outage for entire day due to this incident.
