Bus carrying students catches fire at Banastarim

A tourist bus carrying passengers travelling from Kerala burst into flames while passing over Banastari Bridge. All passengers are safe; however the bus was gutted in the fire.
39 students were
travelling in the tour bus which caught fire on the way back to Kerala. The
bus-driver managed to stop the vehicle at the side of the road after noticing
the flames, and ensured that all passengers made a safe exit from the burning
vehicle. All escaped without any injuries. Fire fighters rushed to the site and
were quick to put out the fire. A fire fighter official gave details.
