BIKE GUTTED IN FIRE

In a shocking incident at Vasco city today, a bike was gutted in a fire while the owner stepped away to visit an ATM. However, what was even more shocking was the fact that local fire services were unreachable since the phone lines to the fire station were out of order.

The owner of the bike informed that while he was at the ATM, his bike began emitting smoke soon after which it was engulfed in a blaze. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. What was of even moreconcern was the fact that local fire services were unreachable since phone lines at the station were down.

Locals demanded that such emergency services should be given a mobile phone via which they can be contacted and also demanded that fire services be placed within the city, especially with the annual Saptah approaching, since the closest fire station to Vasco is in Dabolim.
