Taxi operators united? Yellow black & South taxis withdraws strike, North Goa continues

On Wednesday it was the Yellow and black taxis that ended their strike and came back on the roads. And on Thursday, it was the South Goa Taxi operators, who met the CM, ended their strike and are back on the roads. But North Goa operators are still on strike. The Chief Minister is however positive that all taxis will start operating once again by Friday morning. He is confident that everything is sorted.



South Goa cabbies called off strike with one condition, Goa miles will not be allowed pickup from hotel, drop is fine. The South Goa taxi operators met the Chief Minister along with other MLA at the Secretariat on Thursday.

 

It was the 7th Day of the strike. South Goa Taxi operators made it very clear that they are not against Goa miles but are working for the betterment and be at the service of the public and tourist.

 

 

On Thursday evening, members of the North Goa Taxi operators association marched to the Secretariat hearing the news that the South Goa taxi operators ending off their strike.

 

They came to meet the Chief Minister, but could not meet. But they are still adamant that they will not bend down and end their strike.
