Goa London Goa flights begin via air bubble means

International flights have begun from Goa Dabolim airport. The first direct Air India flight between Goa and London began from the Dabolim International Airport on Sunday. The flight services that are at present on a weekly basis will soon turn into a biweekly service from November under the Air Bubble agreement.



Goa airport director Gagan Malik said Air India started its direct flight LHR-GOI-LHR, B787, initially once a week then twice a week from November. Goa and London are connected directly now. Air Bubbles” are temporary arrangements between two countries aimed at restarting commercial passenger services when regular international flights are suspended as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.


The Union Ministry of Civil Aviation has entered into air bubble arrangements with multiple countries including Afghanistan, Bhutan, Bahrain, Canada, Germany, France etc. as regular international flights are banned due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
