Do our travel operators need to brush up their history lessons?

Perhaps the cruise operators need to brush up their history lessons.

Why? Well here’s on poster behind the bus of tourist that’s creating a confusion. Goans would call it an irresponsible act.  Take a look.

A cruise ship with 2300 passengers and over 600 crew members arrived at Vasco on Monday. The cruise had arrived from Muskat to Goa.

The buses that came to transport them to land had displayed these Posters. It reads ‘Panjim: The city of Portuguese’.

Yes, these operators have been living in other world, hence they still think  ‘Panjim: is The city of Portuguese’.

We did try to speak to transport officials about this but to no avail.

Don’t you think this misrepresentation of fact need to be rectified immediately?
