1200 passengers arrive Goa at MPT from Muscat

The First international Cruise ship arrived at MPT to mark the commencement of the Cruise tourist season with 1200 passengers on board. AIDA -VITA cruise arrived at MPT cruise berth from Muscat on Sunday morning.

The first cruise ship arrived in MPT with around 1200 guests and 400 crew members.  The passengers were given a traditional welcome by the GTDC who had organised a traditional band and music serenadors.

The officials of MPT said that though the domestic cruises like Angriya and Karnika had begun Operations in September - October, this was the first international cruise ship which will help to get a boost in the economy once the cruise tourism starts.
