Sportsmen neglected, is Sports dept awake?

Are the sports department and Sport minister awake?, question Carmel school officials. School officials allege that the sports department has failed to provide even a basic sports kit and travel expenses for school boys who will represent Goa in nationals next week. Ironically, the sports minister himself happens to be from Pernem.

The Carmel School boys u/14 boys team recently lifted the Subroto Cup. And now will be representing Goa at the Nationals.

Their first match is scheduled in Delhi on the 21^st of August. The school staff alleged that the Sports department and the Sports Minister has done nothing to support these kids. Neither expenses nor good kits have been provided, they lament.
