No GFA election till constitution amended: Elvis

Goa Football Association said that its elections will be held after amendments as mandated by the law are made to the association’s constitution.



The All India Federation has given directions that the National sports code and the guidelines incorporated in them are to be followed as per court orders.

Goa Football Association elections were supposed to be held at the end of July this year.

These elections are held once in four years.

GFA President Elvis Gomes also said that as Delhi high Court had quashed elections of the federation asking that these amendments be incorporated in the constitution.

The GFA executive body was in the process of doing that.
