Goa to host Sepak takraw World Cup in Feb 2019

Goa to host the Sepak Takraw, the kick volleyball World Cup Championship in February 2019.



This tournament will be held at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee at Bambolim. 

Sepak Takraw, or kick volleyball, is a sport native to Southeast Asia.

It differs from quite similar sport of foot-volley in its use of a rattan ball. Players can only use their feet, knee, chest, and head to touch the ball.

President of Sepak takraw association of Goa, Babu Kavlekar said that nearly 20 countries will participate in this championship.
