Congress stops ISL practice, say Goan's not benefiting

Why do we need ISL in Goa if it is not benefiting any Goan, is a question the Congress has been asking recently. On Wednesday evening the party held a protest at Verna-Nagoa and stop an ongoing practice session. The Congress party alleged that no Goans are getting business or benefiting due to ISL when the entire league is being held in Goa.



The Indian Super league is all set to kickoff in the next 2 days. But just before it could start the league has got mired in controversy. On Wednesday evening the Congress did not allow the Mumbai City FC practice to start at Nagoa ground in South Goa. Congress said that they are not against any team or player but they are protesting against the league organisers for not giving any business to the locals when entire tournament is hosted in Goa.
