Balli Boys lift Panjorconi cricket cup

Balli Boys defeated Canacona Boys scoring 23 runs in 2.3 overs to win the Panjorconi cricket tourney in Cuncolim on Sunday . Canacona Boys had set a target of 22 runs after playing their 3 overs.

The 2nd All Goa Tennis Ball Cricket tournament was organised by Panjorconi Warriors  at Panjorconi ground in Cuncolim. Altogether, 32 teams participated in the tournament. Winners Balli Boys were awarded 50,000 rupees and a trophy while the runners-up were given  30,000 and a trophy. Cuncolim MLA Clafasio Dias was the chief guest. Others present were former AAP Goa convenor Elvis Gomes, Santosh Faldessai and Sashank Dessai.
