Arais Mendes lifts Old School Boys trophy

Arais Mendes waddo from Nagoa lifted the Old School Boys trophy by defeating Mainath Bhatti-A in the tiebreaker shootout. The finals were held at the St. Joseph School Ground on Monday evening. The tournament was organized by the Old School boys of St. Joseph High School, Arpora.



The village level football is said to be the most intense and aggressive football. The same was witnessed at the final clash between Mainath Bhatti A and Arrais Mendes Vaddo of the Nagoa Arpora.

The match was goalless until the referee blew the final whistle, wherein later in the tie beaker Arrais Mendes defeated Mainath Bhatti A. The tournament was powered by Tito's Ricardo Desouza.

The chief Guest for the finals were former National player and head coach of Dempo Sports Club Samir Naik, along with GFA executive Babli Mandrekar, Ganjanan Gadd and Vinod Naik were the guest of Honors for the finals.
