75 Knots Regatta 2019 – Goa’s Dayne dominates in the RS:X Olympic class

Dayne Coelho of Goa once again showed that he is head and shoulders above the rest of the competition by winning all 3 races of the day with a comfortable margin over his nearest rival Kore Manoj of AYN who took second place in all the races. Dayne lead from the start and gave his opponent no chance whatsoever to catch him, instead increasing his lead on every leg of the race to win comfortably with a lead of over 100 mtrs.



The day started with a lot of excitement as the arrival of the veterans allowed the young sailors to interact with their sailing idols. Also present were observer from YAI and Jt. Hon. Sec Gen Capt. Jitendra Dixit and Chief National Sailing Coach from SAI Mr. Tomasz Januszewski who appreciated the high standards of racing and race management. In the windsurfing Masters Derrick Menezes from Goa came first in both the races followed by Gopal Amin from Pune and Sunil Rajani from Goa. While in the Grand Master category Zamir Mirza from Bangalore took both guns.
