Dengue scare hits Ponda

The Dengue scare hit Ponda on Wednesday after a total of 17 patients were admitted with suspected dengue.



However, doctor’s at the Sub District Hospital in Ponda said that the patients were not in any serious condition and did not have dengue.

Nine  have been discharged. 


On Wednesday 17 patients who were suspected to be affected with dengue virus were admitted to the sub-district hospital in Ponda.


Doctor Subhash Velip said that no patient have been detected with Dengue virus but the people in the state to be careful with the advent of the monsoon. 


After hearing the news of admission of suspected dengue cases to the hospital, Priol MLA  Govind Gaude met the doctors and patients.


Gaude advised that people should keep their surrounding clean in a bid to keep these diseases under control.
