Vasco church kicks off year-long celebrations on the 5th of April

Year-long activities have been planned to celebrate the occasion.

The high point of these celebrations is the formation of a Good Samaritan Fund that will be used for education and health care of the people.

Convener of the 450 Years Celebrations Committee and Vasco Parish Priest, Fr Gabriel Coutinho said that the inaugural ceremony of the festivities will start on the 5th April, with a solemn mass at 4.30 pm at the St Andrew’s church.

This will be followed by a cultural programme at 6.30 pm.

Co-convener of the Celebrations Committee Savio Messias, Fabrica Attorney Apricio Pereira and Fabrica Treasurer Annette Coutinho were also present at the media briefing.

The high point of the celebrations is the formation of the Good Samaritan fund.
