Pednekars celebrate Saptah in Ugem

The seven- day Bhagvati Bhajni Saptah of goddesses Mauli Devi concluded on Monday at Ugve in Pernem with religious fervour.

The bhajni saptha had started on the 17^th of September.

Saptah is an annual traditional festival wherein people from surrounding villages also attend the Gopal Kalo.

Holy bath and the Aarti are the main attractions of the Saptha.

On the last seventh day the saptha concluded with kirtan then the locals took part in Gopal Kalo by breaking Dahi Handi.
