MGP- on, seat sharing by 13-14

The alliance between the MGP and the TMC is final both parties said on Monday, with the official announcement to happen on 13-14December when the TMC supremo Mamta Bannerji is slated to come to Goa. The seat adjustment will also to happen then, MGP President Deepak Dhavalikar and TMC MP, Mohua Moitra said.

Both parties held two press conferences, the first by the MGP.  MGP President Deepak Dhavalikar said that the MGP Central Committee today unanimously decided to fight the 2022 Goa assembly elections in alliance with Trinamool Congress and nitty-gritties would be finalised in the next round of discussions.

We have asked for 12 seats for MGP which we are sure we will get, he said.

After that, the TMC held a press conference wherein they announced that they had received a letter from the MGP and a pre poll alliance was on.
