Jatra of Kapilishwari celebrated

The famous jatra of Kamleshwar and Kapileshwar at Kapileshwari in Ponda was celebrated with great devotion and religious fervor. Celebrations included, palanquin processions, rath, taranga and diujam.

On the day of jatra 5 gods come together and people worship them. There were three palanquin processions and  Taranga taken around the village.

Around 1000 devotees participated in diuja. Watch the celebrations.
